I would love to use the Kids Nite Out service. Are they trustworthy? I assume they are, but my wife is EXTREMELY nervous when it comes to people babysitting that we don't know.

Hi Hal!  I can relate to being cautious as we were also for the first time using the baby sitting service.  However, since that first time we have used Kids Nite Out many, many times at different resorts and we have really enjoyed the sitters that were provided.  We have had ages from infants to 12 years of age and they were all taken care of with care and we came back to happy rooms!

The sitters follow some normal rules and they will not be allowed to take your kids swimming or will not be allowed to give the children baths.  But if you provide them with a room key they are more then happy to stroll younger children around the resorts or take the older ones to play areas.  The sitters are very familiar with the resorts and many have been there for years.  They will match your children's ages to the sitter's experience.

I suggest you have cell phones and make sure you leave your numbers with the sitter and take hers if she also has a cell in case she is out of the room.  We also had dinner served to the room via room service to alleviate having to leave money with the sitter who would then have to deal with finding food for the children.  We made it as easy as possible for both parties!
