Love you guys! We are going to disney in May and plan on the TL Shark Reef swim, do they have SAS equipment for small children, if so are there age limits for the SAS? Thanks so much for all the help and tips you Moms and Dads have to offer.

    Hi Angela,

You will love Typhoon Lagoon and Shark Reef. The saltwater snorkeling adventure is quite fun and interesting for the family.  The optional Supplied Air Snorkeling Adventure includes use of an air tank, regulator and flippers with instruction. The ages requirement is 5 and up.  The cost is about $20 for 30 minutes of instruction. Otherwise , the basic experience which is free offers you a mask, a snorkel, a life vest and a little instruction for your brief adventure across the pool.  Beware, the saltwater is COLD! That was a little shocking to me, even in the hot June Florida sun. It may be a little uncomfortable for the kids at first until they get used to it.

Overall, this is a cool (no pun intended) experience. Get a disposable underwater camera to capture your memories. Have a great vacation!
