love you guys! I've always worn sturdy tennis shoes in the parks, but last trip saw lots of people, kids included, in crocs. what's your choice for keeping comfortable considering all the walking we do? Thanks. natalie

I actually shudder to think how many pairs of Crocs my family owns; it is clearly the shoe of choice for my entire family!  We've even been called the Croc family by some cast members at WDW.  In fact, just today I was admiring their winter boots at a department store.  They are just so amazingly comfortable; and if it rains, they dry out quickly.  They are light-weight in our luggage and can get squished easily, too, to make more room in our luggage.  When we return from our trip, I simply put all the shoes in the dishwasher to clean them!

Our runner-ups for comfort and Disney travel are Merrell, Teva, and Keen brands.  I also bring along a little tube of a product called Blister Block as well as some pieces of mole skin just in case we do find some blisters beginning to develop.

They may be a bit on the ugly side, but we dearly love our Crocs.  In fact the item at the top of my Christmas list.... a pair of princess pink Crocs lined with fur!
