Hey there, Karen! Welcome to
planDisney.
Karen, I love that you are visiting
Walt Disney World with your grands. My mom comes with us quite a bit when we visit the parks and I love seeing her with my daughter making memories that will last a lifetime. The grand relationship is just so special so this really brought a smile to my face.
I think you'll be happy to know that you can absolutely park your vehicle at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and then hop on the bus over to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge for breakfast. Right now,
Sanaa breakfast is quick-service so you can just pop over there anytime you'd like a morning bite. The lodge and restaurant really are beautiful however have you taken a look at the breakfast menu recently, Karen? I have to say there aren't a lot of breakfast offerings right now and I am not sure it would be worth losing precious park time over for their current breakfast menu. It might be worth taking a look at the menu once more before making your final plans.
If you don't mind me making a suggestion, how about changing your dining plans to a family-friendly restaurant inside the theme park instead? My picky eater has always enjoyed
Tusker House for breakfast. Not only is the food delicious, but you'll also get a chance to see Donald Duck and some of his friends like Mickey and Minnie. So not only is it a great meal with great ambiance, it is an experience too. I am always looking for ways to stretch my money at Walt Disney World and character meals are a great way to save on time and get the most bang for your buck. Tusker House is an all-you-care-to-enjoy meal that is currently being served straight to your table. You'll get to dine on fresh fruit and pastries, Mickey & Simba waffles, Durban Chicken & Egg Curry with rice, bacon, sausage and roasted potatoes. If you think the egg curry is a little too different for your kids, you can also ask for child-friendly eggs as well. They can be very accommodating to picky eaters.
Karen, I am sure whatever you choose will be practically perfect in every way for your family. I hope you all have so much fun. If you have other questions as you plan your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Happy planning!
