Would love to go on a Disney Cruise but I have 2 picky eaters! Do any rooms offer a kitchenette or maybe have a fridge and microwave at the very least? Thank you!

    Hi Regina,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Picky eater, I feel your pain!  I have three children, and when it comes to meal time one is adventurous, one prefers standard "kid" fare, and one is extremely picky.  I have found that a cruise is the BEST option to satisfy all of their dining pleasures.

What I love about the Disney Cruise dining experience is that they seem to just "get it".  There is no obligation to eat specifically what the kids menu offers at any given meal.  If you have a child that lives off peanut butter sandwiches - they are more than happy to provide one at each meal.  Simply let your server know the likes and dislikes, and they are wonderful about working with you to make sure your child has something to eat.  That being said, the kids menus are wonderful and usually offer the standard kid-friendly favorites as well as a "kid" version of the adult meal (steak, seafood, pasta etc).

Unfortunately microwaves are not available on the ships, however each stateroom has a beverage cooler.  Also keep in mind that room service is available 24/7, and they can deliver pretty much anything.  The food is complimentary, but a gratuity to the cast member that delivers it would be appreciated.

    Hope this helps!
