Hello Kristen,
Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort happens to be my favorite moderate resort, although the other two are a very close second. I just really enjoy the peaceful charm of Disney's Port Orleans Riverside, as well as the pool area and various resort activities. The rooms are very well appointed and I love the change in scenery just around the resort itself from the antebellum style manors of Magnolia Bend to the rustic wood-sided buildings of Alligator Bayou. If you are interested in a fun and enchanting option for your daughter, be sure to book a "
royal guest room" in which the room has special details and decor themed to feel as if you are a royal guest of Princess Tiana from "Princess and the Frog". These rooms do have to be booked and not simply requested and they are a tad more in cost. But, I think they are totally worth it! In addition to these special rooms, there is catch and release fishing, surrey bike rentals and an evening campfire sing-a-long near the pool and marina. So, as you can see, this resort has so much to offer.
Even if you stay at Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter in November of 2015, your experience will be totally different as the theming and resort set-up are slightly different. However, if you decide on Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, I don't think you'll be disappointed, just a completely different feel. The pool there is super fun with its mission style fort theming and man-made beaches. This resort does tend to feel a bit more spread out to me, but that could just be my personal feeling.
I hope you are able to book the perfect place for your family to enjoy and no matter what, you are sure to have a magical time creating a lifetime of memories. Happy planning.
