    Love the feedback from you guys!Arriving @ OKW 5/11 @ 730pm. 2 boys ages 5&6 (who've already been to WDW 4/5 times respectively!) Would you recommend Downtown Disney or BW that 1st night? I hear BW has street performers, etc. Is that on wkends only?

    Hi Lori!

         It is a great idea to do something that is free on your arrival day to Walt Disney World and not to use up a park ticket for just a few hours.  My recommendation for you is to go to the Boardwalk Area and take in the sights, the sounds, and the smells along the quarter-mile, Coney Island-style boardwalk with your family.  There are street performers every night as well as midway style games.

         My son and I love all that Downtown Disney has to offer as well, especially the Lego Store, but you may not want your children wanting to buy something on the first evening of your Walt Disney World vacation!  Downtown Disney has awesome stores and I never walk away from there without buying something!

    I hope that your next trip to Walt Disney World is extra magical and filled with amazing memories!
