Hi! Love everything Disney! Going to Disney World in February with dad and boyfriend. We are looking for a value or moderate resort with a nice pool bar,and the buses don't stop so many times within the resort (like Caribbean Beach does).Any suggestions?

    Hi there, Toni!

February is such a great time to visit Walt Disney World because the crowds aren't typically too crazy and the weather is nice and mild. It sure sounds like you are going to have a great adults-only vacation!

I always like to recommend the moderate Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter for adult trips because it's such a small, quaint Resort and I think the historic New Orleans District theming with all the wrought iron railings everywhere is so beautiful! The Mardi Grogs Pool Bar is outside near the Doubloon Lagoon pool and is a great place to cool off with an adult beverage after a day at the Parks! While this Resort only has one bus stop, the bus normally shared with Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside which is right next door. There are 4 stops there and can usually take about 15 minutes to get through before you're on your way to the Parks.

Another option is Disney's Art of Animation Resort, the newest value Resort that opened last fall. Here, you'll have the choice of a standard value room [in The Little Mermaid section] that sleeps 4 people, or a Family Suite [in either The Lion King, Cars, or Finding Nemo sections] that can sleep up to 6 people and even has its own separate bedroom! There is only 1 bus stop at this Resort and it does not share a bus with any other Resorts. The Drop Off pool bar located right next to the Big Blue Pool, the single largest hotel pool at Walt Disney World! Check out DisneyFoodBlog.com for lots of pictures and details of the menu items served there.

I sure hope this helps with your decision, Toni! Please write back in if you have any other questions!

Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
