We love Disneyland but I haven't been to disney world for a very long time. I have 5 kids my youngest is 2. I am a DVC owner and would like to know which resort is the best to stay at. Closest to the parks and easy to get to. Thank you!!

Hey there, Melinda! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so excited for you and your family to vacation at Walt Disney World later this year! There are so many new and exciting things to do at all four of the Theme Parks so it’s nice being able to go back and forth between your Walt Disney World Resort room and the Parks.

For my first recommendation, might I suggest Disney’s Riviera Resort. This past December I had the opportunity to stay here and let me tell you, it was absolutely stunning and the room was very spacious! Plus, with easy access to the Disney Skyliner, you’ll be a ride away to both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

My second recommendation would be Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. I may be a bit bias, but this Resort is one of my all-time favorites with its tropical surroundings and in close proximity to both Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT on Disney’s Monorail.

Third and finally, I’d like to suggest Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Our family stayed at this resort last year and between the exotic animals that roam outside your room and one of my favorite pools, this Disney Resort is fantastic… especially if you and your family plan on spending time at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Whichever option you choose, you can't go wrong as I absolutely love all of the resorts at Walt Disney World. If you have any other questions please let us know. Otherwise, be sure to tell Mickey I said hello!
