Hi , would love a character dining suggestion for two boys ages 13 and 8? Thank you.

Greetings, Daniela! I am thrilled that you are planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort! Character dining is such a fun way to have a great meal and meet some of your favorite Disney friends.

My number one suggestion for character dining at the Disneyland Resort is the Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at the Plaza Inn. The breakfast buffet offers just about anything you could possibly desire for breakfast and, in my opinion, this meal has the best and most varied character interaction of any character dining experience in the parks. For example, the last time we dined there, we met over 10 characters including Captain Hook, Minnie, Eeyore, Chip, Dale, Winnie the Pooh, Rafiki, and more. The character line up is subject to change, but you are sure to meet many characters here that should appeal to both your teenager and 8-year-old.

My other recommendation is Surf’s Up! Breakfast with Mickey and Friends at Disney's PCH Grill. Here, you get to meet the main man himself and a few of his friends decked out in their best beach gear. Also, if your boys like to dance, they can take part in a dance party hosted by Stitch!

Reservations are highly recommended for these meals and can be made up to 60 days in advance online or by calling (714) 781-3463. No matter which meal you choose, a great time and a great meal is awaiting you! Have a wonderful time!
