I love Character Dining, but I don’t necessarily want to book a character meal in any of the parks. I know about Chef Mickey’s, but are there any other fun options outside the parks? Breakfast options are best, but open to all suggestions! ❤️

Hiya Lindsay - welcome back to planDisney!

I'm so glad you stopped by with another question for our team of panelists. We're here to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

I love Character Dining too! I do have something to fess up to though - my first Character Dining experience was just last year, so I have some catching up to do! The good news is that I have some great suggestions specifically for breakfast.

First, I have to highlight Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends, available at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort. This is currently my favorite breakfast experience in all of Walt Disney World Resort! You'll start with delicious fresh bread and pastries before selecting from several elevated breakfast entrées. The coffee is great, and I'm also a huge fan of their breakfast cocktails! While the amazing food would normally be the star of this show, it's the visitors to your table that really bring the magic. Mickey and his friends show off their unique artistic sides, celebrating art and creativity as they greet all of their friends enjoying breakfast. I can't recommend this experience enough, and as a bonus, if you haven't explored this beautiful Resort, this will give you an opportunity to soak in all the magic. Maybe it will be your home away from home on a future Disney trip!

Two other Character Dining breakfast experiences are returning this Fall: Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Café, located at Disney's Beach Club Resort, and 'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I've not yet experienced breakfast at Cape May Café, but I can say that breakfast at 'Ohana is delicious!

One other great non-park option for Character Dining is Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. Located at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort, you'll be whisked away to the Enchanted Forest where you'll have a storybook-themed dinner experience featuring Snow White, The Queen, Dopey and Grumpy!

These are all great options, and adding any of them to your upcoming visit is a great idea! You also have so much to look forward to as part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration - be sure to check out my favorite new addition, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT - it's a blast!
