Love the board ladies! My youngest child has a dairy allergy. I have read about all the great options Disney offers for allergies. My question is does it matter that he's 23 months and won't actually have his own dining plan? Thanks ladies!

    Hi Carly!

Walt Disney World is so great with guest that have allergies.  They really try to accommodate every single person!  My wedding was at Epcot and I had a few guests that had sever allergies including my maid of honor.  The chef made them all their own dishes and came out to talk to them at my reception to make sure everything was perfect.  I love it!

Since your son is under 2, he does not pay for the dining plan.  Even though he has a dairy allergy, he will still eat for free at all of the buffet restaurants.  Just let your server know of the allergy and they will take care of him.  You will probably end up having to pay for a meal for your son at quick service restaurants and table service restaurants that are not buffet style, unless you get your adult meals dairy free and let him share off of your plate.

When making dining reservations, you will need to indicate that there is an allergy and special diet in your family so the restaurants know ahead of time.

    Have a magical day!
