    I love Bay Lake Tower, but have heard on several different websites that it has 'no atmosphere'. Is this true? Is it as quiet as everyone says? My family wants good hotel atmosphere on our 1st trip, but we love BLT for its proximity to MK, dining and rooms

    Hello Christina!

    Bay Lake Tower is my dream home away from home! The location of the resort is fantastic! We were able to go out on the observation deck of the Contemporary Resort and the Bay Lake Tower looks so majestic from that location. I too have heard that it's a little bit more subdued when it comes to the Walt Disney World resorts. But, I have also seen pictures of the rooms and they look fantastic!

    May I also recommend Disney's Polynesian Resort? We stayed there a few weeks ago and the resort is brimming with atmosphere. You would think that you were in the middle of the Hawaiian Islands! My kids had a blast in the Volcano pool and they have all of the water sports and recreation activities you can think of. The rooms were some of the first built on the property so they are a little larger than most of the other resorts. The resort is also one Monorail stop from Magic Kingdom.
