Hiya Marge,
I am thrilled that you stopped back at planDisney. It won't be long now and you will be on your way to
The World's Most Magical Celebration. Not only will you be able to enjoy all the magic associated with the 50th anniversary, but you will also be there during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Get ready to munch and sip your way around The World Showcase as you and your taste buds are treated to culinary delights from six continents. It will be impossible to pick a favorite as everything is scrumptious!
Our family loves spending hours enjoying the animals as they roam the savanna surrounding
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is breathtaking - from the gorgeous towering wooden lobby to the roaring fire on the back patio to the safari themed rooms, the resort brings a touch of Africa to Walt Disney World.
Yes, the resort is a little further from most Disney attractions and theme parks, however it is just down the road from Animal Kingdom. The Disney buses transport Guests from both Jambo House and Kidani Village and the travel times are approximately 10 to 15 minutes to Animal Kingdom and 20 to 30 minutes depending on which of the other theme parks you are headed to and what time of the day it is. The longest travel time seems to be first thing in the morning and in the evening after theme park closing. While it may take a few extra minutes to get to a theme park, the difference is minimal and I think the resort is well worth the extra travel time!
I hope this helps in your decision process. If I can help with any further planning questions, please
stop back and see me.
With pixie dust,
Margaret
