    Hi Moms! Love your advice. We are visiting WDW on October 15-21. We saw that the Main Street Electrical parade will be discontinued by then. Is there another parade taking its place or do you have any suggestions for what to do during that time instead?

    Hi Lewis! We have been anxiously waiting for Disney to announce something new that will be taking the place of the great Main Street Electrical Parade in the Magic Kingdom. At this time nothing has been released for the parade replacement.

    Many cast members are confident that they will indeed have something in place but there is not official information about this or timing of this. I have been suggesting guests watch the news on the Disney Parks Blog as they will make all announcements as soon as the information is posted officially.

    Obviously there will still be fireworks in the park each evening and they are certainly worth staying in the park to watch. Attractions will remain open in the evening for guests to do their favorite ride one last time and dining and shopping is open until the park closes. Entertainment happens throughout the park at all hours so be sure and grab a Times Guide when you enter to see the latest information on all of that.
