I LOVE adult-only trips to Walt Disney World Resort with my friends, several of which are educators. What are the best times to go considering school schedules, Florida temperatures, crowd levels, special events, and dynamic pricing?

    Hiya Brena,

It's always nice to see you planning Disney at planDisney! I, too, love adults-only Walt Disney World Resort vacations. My girlfriends and I laughed until we cried on a recent EPCOT fireworks cruise and were recognized for our enthusiastic "toots" at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. The magic of Disney is both timeless and ageless.

As a Disney-influenced educator, I'm happy to share my opinion on the best times to visit Walt Disney World Resort.

    1. Federal holidays - It is common advice to avoid visiting the parks on holiday weekends due to traditionally larger crowds, but one less day of leave and sub plans makes them a desirable option for educators. I visited the parks on Labor Day and Veterans Day weekends last year and am planning a family visit on Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend next year. Taking advantage of Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guests and Disney Genie+ service helps maximize the magic and minimize the wait times, especially on busy holidays.
    2. Summer - Teachers have no homework when visiting over the summer. It's also the season of enticing deals like this year's 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Tickets and room discount offers. Some deals are worth melting for, but you can beat the heat by taking a midday pool break at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, enjoying indoor entertainment like Finding Nemo: The Big Blue...and Beyond! at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and relaxing at one of Disney's incredible lounges
    3. Spring Break - The spring break season lasts from March to May, depending on the school calendar, which typically boasts mild temperatures. My family had the best weather during our April spring break visit this year. There were also many exciting things happening in the parks like the opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run and the return of Happily Ever After. Spring break magic is strong!
When determining the best time for you and your teacher friends to return to the magic, Brena, have a discussion about your priorities and calendar constraints. The best time to visit is ultimately anytime you can be together.

Hope to see ya real soon,
    Jennifer
