Hi lots of future questions. We would like to go in a few years to see Christmas decorations, when are they put up and what is the weather and crowds normally like. Typically is this value season? do they have free dining usually around this time. Thanks :0

    Hi Stacey,

The Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort is my favorite time of the year to visit. All the Theme Parks, Resort hotels and even the characters dress up for the occasion.

Once Halloween passes, the whole Resort starts putting up the decorations, usually around mid-November. Mickey gets ready to celebrate in Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and Epcot invites celebrities to retell the story of Christmas, while a choir and orchestra perform in Candlelight Processional. The weather is beautiful, with temperatures still in the 70s by the end of the year, although it can get a little chilly at night when the temperatures dip. Crowds do pick up by mid-December when kids start to be off school, leading into the most visited time of the year: the week between Christmas and New Year's Day.

Mickey tries to save us some Disney Dollars, and in years past, he gave us free Disney Dining Plans. As Master Yoda said, "Difficult to see. Always in motion is the future." Be sure to visit the Special Offers page to see what he has in store for us.

One last tip: Magic Your Way Vacation Packages are available to book for the following year, starting around the middle of the summer. Be sure to keep an eye to the Disney Parks Blog for announcements. Happy planning!
