Hello Melanie, and welcome to planDisney.
Firstly, as the
current UK planDisney Panelist, I can totally relate to the excitement of finally being able to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort later on this month as the current Covid-19 travel restrictions are lifted. And secondly, huge hEARTflet congratulations on your twin pregnancy - how magical is that to be expecting 2 little Mouseketeers in the very near future!
Melanie, I feel sure that so many British families have been literally counting down the days until they finally arrive at Orlando International Airport. Plus, for sure they've all been extra busy planning right down to the very last magical detail, including securing
Advanced Dining Reservations at select dining locations.
It sure sounds as if you've also been doing some great planning towards your upcoming jolly holiday to Walt Disney World Resort! I'm delighted to hEAR that you've discovered the
Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability that can be accessed on your smart device via the
My Disney Experience Mobile App.
One of the best benefits of
Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability is that once you've added your party to the walk-up list of an available restaurant, you'll be free to go and find a comfortable nearby spot to sit and relax in whilst you wait for the App to notify you of a return time.
Another suggestion would be to perhaps opt to dine at
Quick-Service dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort as these more casual eateries don't require Guests to make any Advanced Dining Reservations. One of my most favourite Quick-Service dining locations is the
Columbia Harbour House which can be found within the
Magic Kingdom Park - you really won't want to miss trying the delicious
Lobster Roll there! The Columbia Harbour House can be deceptive in size; not a lot of Guests realise that there's actually lots of seating upstairs.
Melanie, all that remains is for me to wish you a truly EARidescent upcoming holiday to the magic and wonder of Walt Disney World Resort.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
