    A lot of the restaurants charge 18% for parties of 6 or more. We are a party of 7, but we are paying for 5 and 2 are paying together. Will we still get charged the 18% as I booked the reservations for 7?

    Hi Christine,

    Unfortunately, yes.  It is all about the number of guests at one table (reservation size), it really won't matter whether there are children under the age of 3 years old (which would be complimentary) or guests who are paying separate bills.  As long as the number of guests at the table under the same reservation are 6 or more, then the 18% gratuity is automatically applied.  You could make 2 reservations, but then you will not have everyone at the same table, I am sorry I couldn't give you the answer you were looking for but I am sure you will have a fantastic time....enjoy!
