I have a LOT of questions about children's activities. My husband and I are interested in doing the dolphin trainer for a day PORT ADVENTURE. Is It an option to do this; can our 3 year old be at Oceaneer's or is there childwatch for 3 1/2 year olds?

    Hi, Amy!

Congratulations on your upcoming cruise aboard Disney Cruise Line! I'd be more than happy to answer your questions about children's activities on board and at ports of call.

There are many Port Adventures that offer dolphin encounters of varying levels of interaction. They differ in the age threshold depending on how interactive guests are with the dolphins, and some offer an "observer" experience for as young as 3 years old. Not knowing what ports of call your itinerary includes, you will need to peruse the list of dolphin encounter port adventures to see which ones are available for your cruise and which ones best meet your needs and expectations.

If you decide that you would like to make this an adult-only experience, your child can be left in the care of the Oceaneer's Club or Oceaneer's Lab during your shore excursion -- just double check once you're on board to make certain that the times coincide. I hope this helps you plan!

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
