Hi, there!
Welcome back to planDisney, Amy. We just love when you stop by!
I'm sorry to hear your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is over, and even sorrier to hear that you misplaced something during your stay. I just returned from a magical visit myself, and like you, I lost something too! On our arrival day, I somehow lost one of my favorite Mickey Mouse pearl earrings at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. My best guess is that it fell out when my kids pressured me to go down the waterslide at Fuentes del Morro Pool...
Once I realized I was missing the earring, I went to the Front Desk of our Disney Resort hotel. The Cast Member I spoke with was unable to find the earring at the hotel's Lost and Found, but she gave me super helpful advice that I'm going to share with you! To report a lost item, visit
disneyworld.com/lostandfound. The Walt Disney World Resort uses a system called Chargerback to help track lost and found items. It's simple to use! Click on the blue hyperlink to answer a series of questions. You'll first list where you believe you lost the item, and then you'll provide as many details as you can about the item you're missing. Finally, you'll add your contact information and address. After you've submitted your lost item report, you'll receive a confirmation email. I haven't heard any word about my lost earring yet, but I'm wishing on a star that it's found soon!
Be sure to
download your Disney PhotoPass photos before they expire. I've had so much fun looking through my family's Disney PhotoPass photos since we've been home. I can't wait to print a few to frame!
Thanks for stopping by, Amy. I hope you locate your misplaced item soon!
