I lost my magic band in the park. I’ve filed a lost and found claim with the photo and serial number. If someone isn’t as honest as one would hope could they link it to their account and use my band?

Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Roxanna. Thanks for dropping by to share your question with us. Ugh, it's no fun to wrap up a trip at the Disneyland Resort only to find that you've lost something.

I'm so sorry to hear this and I am glad to hear that you were able to file a claim with the Lost and Found. I called and chatted with a super helpful Cast Member who shared that you can reach out to them with the serial number of your MagicBand+ and they will be able to report your band as lost in their system. To do this, you can call general information at (714) 781-4636 and I recommend calling as soon as possible so they can log your band as lost. This process is separate and in addition to the lost and found report you have already filed.

Again, I'm so sorry that you lost your MagicBand+. I have heard stories of many other Guests who have lost something (including their MagicBand+) while visiting the parks and their item was recovered and sent back to them. I really hope that this will also be the case for you.

Roxanna, I hope this information is helpful. Most of all, I hope that your MagicBand+ is recovered and makes its way back home to you where it belongs. I'll be sending all the pixie dust your way for a happy ending!
