I lost my Magic Band during our recent trip in December. Will Disney mail it back or how can I get it replaced? Thanks

    Hiya, Shelli!

Welcome to planDisney and great question. I am sad to hear that this is what brought you to us, but I’m happy to say that you are in great hands.

My family has lost our fair share of MagicBands+. I’m almost embarrassed to share with you the total number that have gone missing. I think at this point we have a total of 5 that were lost. Two were lost back-to-back during our fishing excursion this summer. Unfortunately, they are now sitting at the bottom of Bay Lake. Even with trying to use the net to save them, we were unsuccessful.

The good news is that my sister had better luck! She lost hers on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and after filling out the lost and found form, she received it in the mail about a week later. Depending on when you lost your MagicBand+, there might be a chance you get it back! I recommend filling out this lost and found form. I’m wishing on every star that your MagicBand+ finds its way back to you.

If not, don’t worry! When you book a Disney Resort vacation, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase a discounted MagicBand+ before your trip. You can also check out the Disney Store online for a new one. As styles frequently change, you might be able to purchase a new one at a discounted price.

I know it’s rough losing things in the theme parks so I do hope it is found and returned to you. If not then I think the best solution is booking another trip to soften the loss. I’m kidding, kind of. Although, my solution for any problem is, to just go to Disney!

Shelli, I hope this helps and despite this hiccup, I hope you had the most magical time!
