I lost my ID and my new one hasn’t come yet. Can I use my California marriage license that has my address on it to prove my residency?

    Hi Jadyn!

I'm so sorry that you lost your ID! That would be so frustrating for lots of reasons.

Most ticket types at the Disneyland Resort don't require proof of residency, but I'm guessing that you may be a Magic Key holder with an Imagine Key or you're using Southern California Resident tickets. Those tickets do require a government-issued photo ID that includes your address to validate that you live within eligible zip codes, and alternate proof of residence isn't currently accepted.

It sounds like you're already in the process of replacing your ID. Did the DMV perhaps give you a temporary ID while you wait for your new one? If not, I would suggest visiting your closest DMV today to see if they can help you get a temporary ID while you wait for your new one to arrive. The last time I needed to renew my ID they printed a temporary one on the spot, so hopefully they can do that for you!

This is such a great time of year to visit the parks! Pixar Fest is in full swing and I was able to enjoy lots of friendship-themed fun this last week when I was there. I really loved all the characters at the Pixar Pals Playtime Party, it was so cool to see friends that you wouldn't normally get to visit in the parks! There's also a ton of fun food to enjoy across both parks and the Downtown Disney District. The special menu at Paradise Garden Grill is particularly good!

I'm so sorry that your missing ID is putting stress on your plans, Jadyn! I hope you're able to hustle to the DMV today to get a temporary ID so you can enjoy your weekend.

    Keep moving forward!
