I lost my id and made a purchase of magic key I have the believe key do I need my id for first time entertain

Hey there and welcome to planDisney, Vanessa. We're so glad you stopped by to share this question with us and I'm delighted to help.

Congratulations on becoming a Magic Key holder! I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who shared that you will need to present a valid government-issued photo ID for your first visit to activate your Magic Key. I asked if a temporary ID would suffice and unfortunately, the Cast Member shared that it would not be acceptable. I'm so sorry and wish I had better news to share with you, Vanessa.

Once you have your new ID and are ready to activate your Magic Key on your first visit, the Cast Member will take your picture which will be linked to your Magic Key and used as identification throughout the validity of your pass. It's always wise to have your photo ID on hand in case you are ever asked for it when using your Magic Key perks (per the Magic Key Terms & Conditions).

I hope you're ready for one magical year! There are so many wonderful events planned for 2024 at the Disneyland Resort. If you aren't already, be sure to follow @disneylandmagickey on Instagram to stay updated on the latest news and offerings.

Vanessa, I'm sorry this isn't quite the answer you were hoping for. I'll be sending pixie dust your way in the hopes that you're able to find your ID or get a new one as quickly as possible. The magic will always be waiting for you!
