    I am at a loss as to how to make reservations for dinning. I have spent hours on line and also on the phone. They tell me every restaurant we want to eat at is throughly booked. How can that be? We are two months out, it doesn't make sense. Help!

    Hi Jeannine,

    I'm sorry you are having a hard time making reservation.  So many families who travel to WDW make their reservation 3 months ahead of time.  Soon the reservation system will allow you to make them 6 months ahead of time, which means that restaurants will only book up earlier.

    The best advice I can give is to plan your day around eating at off times.  You may have to eat lunch at 2pm or dinner at 4:30, but you'll still be able to experience the great restaurants.

    Some of my favorite restaurants that don't usually book up quickly are Tony's Town Square, the Biergarten, Grand Floridian Cafe, the Yak and Yeti restaurant, Whispering Canyon Cafe, and the Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater.

    Many times we would decide at the last minute that we wanted to go to a different park than we had originally planned.  On those days I would call (407)WDW-DINE and ask for any restaurant at any time.  They almost always have something for us.
