Hi Shannon!
Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
The Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon is a great race and weekend. I especially love the Post-Race Party and getting to experience
Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival! The goal for runDisney is to stay on schedule and close the expo on time. There are hundreds of volunteers working the expo, so it only makes sense that they are finished working when they're supposed to be. However, I think as long as you're inside the bib pick-up location before 7:00 they should let you pick up your bib.
Normally at runDisney events, they have you pick up your bib in one building and then take it to the expo center to get your gear bag, race shirt, bib pins, etc. Since the lines are usually very low toward expo closing time, I think you could get all of this accomplished in about 20 minutes. I would aim to arrive by 6:30 to be safe. This doesn't give you any time to shop all of the (really awesome) vendors at the expo, but should give you time to get what you need to run the race.
You will receive more detailed instructions about picking up your bib in the Official Event Guide. These usually come out a couple of weeks prior to the race. They will be sent to all runners in an email and available to download on the race website, under the "Runner Info" tab.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions and good luck with your training!
