    Hi Lori, My wife and I are planning on doing the Tinkerbell half next January. Just wondering what is offered on the course for refreshments? Is it only water or is there other beverages with electrolyte and other nutrition offered?

    Hi Rob!  The Tinkerbell is a great race!  You will certainly be outnumbered by women!  My husband ran with me in the Princess Half Marathon at Disney World one year, and I really don't think he minded the high women to men ratio!!
    For refreshments, you will have water and Powerade stops all along the course.  There is generally at least one per every mile and a half.  Between mile markers eight and nine, they also offer something more.  You will be offered an energy gel filled with lots of the stuff we need to get us to the finish line! 
    I have never carried any waters or drinks on a belt during Disney races.  I have found that there are more than enough water/Powerade stops along the course.  I don't even stop at all of them.  I usually just stop at every other one, and alternate between water and Powerade.
