    Hello Lori If I am reading right the ten mile race in January will have a Minnie Medal? I am thinking about adding that to my 1/2 that weekend. Also does the 5k have a metal medal. I would love to do the full but I am worried about injury before Tink ra

    Hi Bob!

    The Walt Disney World 10K and Dopey Challenge have definitely added a lot of excitement to the upcoming year's marathon race weekend! 

    You are correct that Minnie Mouse will be the "mascot" for the 10K, similar to Donald Duck for the half marathon, Mickey for the full marathon, and Goofy for the Goofy Challenge.  

    Generally, the 5K's have (really cute) plastic-type medals.  This could change for next year's events, but as of now, it has not. 

    I understand your concern.  A full marathon or more on that weekend could make it difficult to be ready for the Tinkerbell Half.  That's definitely something to consider when you sign up for your races.
