Hi Lori! I am new to the wonderful world of disney and want to start my disney running experience with the princess run in Feb however I'm not so sure as where to start? Do I register and then book travel or vice versa? Do you have any tips?

Hello Ilene!  Welcome to the Wonderful World of Disney!  It's a great place to be!!

The Princess is a great place to begin.  It was my first runDisney race and is one of my favorites.

You should register for the race, and then book your travel.  You will get a specially priced room and theme park tickets with a runner's discount.  You can register on the runDisney website.  To book your room, you will call 407-WDW-IRUN.  You can find travel package information on the runDisney Princess Half Marathon travel page.

After you register you will get a password and a link to be able to purchase theme park tickets at a discount.  You don't have to have tickets to run the race, but if you want to visit parks, you can buy them.

Be sure to check out Disney's official trainer, Jeff Galloway.  He has great advice for runners of all levels and even offers training plans for each runDisney race.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
