Hi Lori, I am so excited, I will be running my first WDW marathon in Jan. I had a question regarding the diaper dash. My daughter will be 1 yr on Jan 4 meaning she misses the cutoff for the diaper dash by 1 wk. How strict are they on the age limit.

Hi Dannielle!  The Disney World marathon is going to be pretty awesome!  I am so excited about the new course and can't wait to see the surprises on mile 20!

The Diaper Dash is seriously one of the cutest things I have ever seen!  RunDisney does not check birth certificates, so if she is that close to the age cut-off, you will probably be fine entering her in that race.  The 1-3 year-old category may be too much for your daughter since she may or may not even be walking.  I can tell you that the 100 meter dash involves a lot of parental help!  Sometimes the parent has to carry the child the whole way!

Just put her in the one you feel would be best for her!  Be sure and take lots of pictures of your little racer!

Also, let me know if you have any other questions about runDisney!
