Hi, Lori! Welcome to the Mom's Panel, and congratulations on your selection! Do you have a training plan that you recommend? Thanks for the info!

Hi Kristin!  Thank you!  It is quite an honor to have been chosen and I am really enjoying answering the questions people send me!  I LOVE the training plan that was created by the official runDisney trainer, Jeff Galloway.  He has his own website with different training plans, www.jeffgalloway.com.  He also customizes his training plans to fit each runDisney race.  He uses a run/walk/run method.  I am not sure what your running level is, but mine was a big, fat ZERO when I started and it has been amazing!  I never thought I could complete a half marathon and now I have done more than I can count and completed two already this year!  It is a great method for all levels that you can customize to your pace.  It has also been proven to significantly reduce running injuries.  That is a huge deal!  It's not fun to run when you're hurt.  It's even worse to put months and months into training only to be be too injured to do the race, which is the fun part! I hope you like that plan.  Let me know if I can help you plan a runDisney event!
