Hi Lori - The W&D 1/2 marathon has been on my bucket list and my husband has just been cleared to fly after recovering from leukemia. Can I register for the race and then book the resort or does it all need to be booked at the same time as registration

    Hi Robyn!

First, I am so happy for your husband!  That is great news!  And the Wine and Dine Half Marathon is my favorite runDisney race.  I think you will love it!

For your question, your race registration is completely separate from your room reservation.  You will register for the race through Active.com, and then can book your room whenever you are ready.  You will find the information for booking a room on the Walt Disney World Travel page on the runDisney website.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
