Hi Lori, I am running the Princess half next month and have never ran at Disney. Race starts at 5am, is the race over by 9ish, I have a 1:50 flight home. I understand the Disney magic shuttle takes you to the airport 3 hours early (is that correct).

    Hi Erica!

The Princess Half is a really fun race!  I know you're going to love your first runDisney event!

The half marathon will actually begin at 5:35 a.m.  That will be when Corral A begins.  The next corrals will begin about 5 or 6 minutes later, so you will want to factor that into your starting time.  Then add your estimated half marathon running time to see when you think you will finish.  I would allow another 45 minutes to get back to your resort after you finish.

You are correct that the Disney Magical Express will pick you up about three hours before your scheduled departure.  So, in your case, you would want to be at your resorts front entrance by 10:50.  You could always schedule a taxi to take you to the airport if you won't be back by then, but that would be at an additional cost to you.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
