Hi Lori! I am running my first disney half marathon this Nov at the Wine and Dine. Will I automatically be placed in the last corral if I do not submit a time? I can run a 9-10 minute mile, but know they will not take personal times. Thanks!

    Hi William!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Congratulations on choosing the Wine and Dine Half Marathon as your first half.  It's my favorite runDisney event!

In general, if you don't submit a proof-of-time, you will be placed in the last (or one of the last) corrals. The number of runners that don't submit times will determine how many corrals there are for them.

If you can run a 9-10 minute mile, I highly suggest finding a race to run this summer to use for your time. You can submit a 10K time for a half marathon.  I am actually signed up for a 10K in July that I plan to use for my Wine and Dine corral placement.

Here is more information that you can find on the Wine and Dine Half Marathon website, under the "RUNNER INFO" tab.

*If proof of time is not provided by August 2, 2016, data provided is incomplete or cannot be verified, you will be placed in the last start corral.
*No corral changes will be made after August 2, 2016.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
