Hi Lori! I am running in the Disney Half-Marathon next week and I have signed up for the race retreat. Can you tell me about the self-treatment stations? Are their showers or sinks to use after the race?

Hi Jody!

I love the race retreat tent. It really takes a lot of the stress out of race mornings. There is food, drinks, bathrooms, private bag check, etc., all right there in a climate-controlled tent!

There are not any showers at the race retreat. There are some portable sinks outside near the private restrooms (portable potties) that are only for race retreat members.

There will be a hot food buffet for after the race. It's a great place to hang out while you cool down and recover a bit. Then you can eat a high-protein meal to help your muscles recover before leaving!
