Hi Lori! I have a question about an upcoming runDisney race. What does the registration fee include? What should I expect for my first runDisney race?

Hi Kaiti! I think you will be very pleased if you choose a runDisney race! Running + Disney is the perfect combination!  The registration fee will include:  your bib number with chip timing, a free athletic quality t-shirt and a goodie bag with various gifts from sponsors.  You will also receive free drinks and food after the race to help your body recover.  The bags with bibs and shirts will be picked up at Disney's Wide World of Sports at the Health and Fitness expo.  The expo is a football field sized arena full of various vendors with everything a runner could dream of or want.  You will want to have at least a couple of hours to spend here browsing around!  As for the race, you will love it!  The course will be lined with lots of water and Powerade tables.  There will be over 1,000 volunteers handing out drinks, taking your picture for you with your camera, and sometimes just cheering you on!  You will get to run through at least one or more of the Disney parks.  And if that wasn't enough, there are touches of Disney all along the course.  There are Disney characters, bands, DJ's with music, big-screens with movies, park props and much more throughout the run.  I really can't even explain how much fun the races are.  Another great thing about Disney is how organized and smoothly the races are put on.  Staying at a Disney host resort is valuable because there is free bus transportation to and from the expo and the race.  The fun will begin as soon as you get dropped off from the bus.  There will be a DJ leading you in a warm-up, speakers to get you motivated, and coffee and snack/drink booths set up.  As race time approaches, you will check your bag that you got in at a tent, arranged alphabetically, and then make your way to the starting line of the race! (with maybe a port-a-potty stop or two on the way!!)  Please reach me here if you have ANY other questions about runDisney races or planning your trip!
