    Hi Lori!! Question about the Princess Half! Bringing the kids and hubby, but don't want to pay a fortune for the chear squad! Do they charge for the kids (2&3)? And if they want to go to MK to watch me and back to finish, worth the extra money??

    Hi Ashley!  I understand!  Buying that for three can add up!  First of all, if your husband purchases the chEAR squad package, there will be no charge for any child age 3 and under.  Secondly, they can go to the Magic Kingdom and cheer you on, even without being a part of the chEAR squad.  All spectators are able to watch the runners on Main Street at Magic Kingdom.  I recently was on the chEAR squad during marathon weekend, and this is why I think the money is worth it:  The reserved seats at the finish and in front of the castle are great.  The t-shirt and blanket are nice too.  The absolute best part of the platinum level chEAR squad is the use of the Race Retreat tent.  There are sofas, TV's, craft stations for kids, characters to entertain, plus plenty of food and drinks.  It is a great place for a family to wait on their runners to return to the finish line, especially since it can be pretty chilly that early in the morning in Orlando and the tent is warm.  If you can handle paying for your husband to have that package, I do think you will get your money's worth out of it.  Your family can travel back and forth between Epcot and Magic Kingdom using the monorails, or they can hang out in the tent until you get to the finish!  Use this link for more information about the chEAR squad packages for Princess half marathon.  Also, let me know if I can help you plan for your trip in any other way!  Best of luck with the rest of your training!
