Hi Lori - Can you please tell me what parking is like for the Princess 1/2? If not staying at a Host Resort, do we take a shuttle from ESPN like the ToT run or will we be able to park at EPCOT. Thx so very much!

    Hi Allison!

The Princess Half is a little different from the Tower of Terror race.  You are able to park at Epcot for the Princess.  I was at a non-host resort for the 2012 Princess and drove myself to the race.  The drive to the race was uneventful.  I made sure I had the road closure list that is available at your front desk, so I took an alternate route.  I also left my resort by 3:30 a.m. so I could avoid the crowds and have some time to sit, eat, and stretch once I was there.

My only problem came AFTER the race.  The parking lot was very congested from the daily Epcot traffic coming in, and from the racers trying to leave.  I think it took me about 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot.

In 2010, I actually had my brother drop me and my friends off in the Epcot parking lot before the race.  We then took the Disney Epcot buses back to our non-host resort after the race.   That worked really well too!  And then, one year, I had a ticket to get into a park, so I spent a few hours at Epcot before trying to leave, and traffic was no longer an issue.

The race will add some traffic,  but as long as you plan ahead, you will be fine!

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
