Hi Lori, After a long struggle to lose weight I am finally ready to run a 1/2 marathon. Being a huge Disney fan, I'd love to run the Wine and Dine half. Can you tell me, are families allowed to attend the after party? Thanks!

Hi Michael!  Congratulations on your success!  A runDisney half marathon is a wonderful way to celebrate reaching a goal like this and you will find that there are a lot of runners there with similar stories.  It is very motivational and you should be very proud of yourself!  One of my very best friends ran the Wine and Dine in 2010 after losing 100 pounds.  What an emotional day!
The Wine and Dine is my favorite runDisney race and the after party is a big reason why!  Yes, your family can purchase tickets to the after party to celebrate your success with you!  Keep watching on the Wine and Dine information page on runDisney's website for more information.  It will be called something like "Family and Friends" tickets for the party.  Please let me know if you have any other questions or need help planning for the Wine and Dine with your family!  I hope to see you there!
