Hello Lori, I'm running the Half Marathon 2014. I'm purchasing the Platinum ChEAR Squad package for each of my family members and the Race Retreat package for myself. Do I need to also purchase the Race Retreat package for each of my family members?

    Hi Angela!

You guys are really doing it right!  The Race Retreat is such a great place for runners to get ready to race, and then cool down after.  It's a great place to meet up with your family, too.  And of course, it's the perfect way for spectators to hang out, eat, and wait for their runner to get to the finish line!

You do not need to purchase the Race Retreat for them.  It is included in the ChEAR squad Platinum package.  What happens is, the runners will be allowed in it up until a certain time, and then they will clean it out, put up the hot food buffet, and let the ChEAR squad members in a half hour later.  Runners and ChEAR squad members will have access to it after that.  You will get the exact times in your final instructions packet.

I hope this helps!  Let me know if you have any other questions and best wishes with your training!!
