Hi Lori! My husband, brother, and I are going to be running the Princess Half Marathon this February. YAY!!! I am wondering what the temperatures are usually like when the race starts and ends?

HI Elizabeth!  What a great family adventure!  I love the Princess Half!

The official temperatures for Orlando in February are highs of around 73 and lows around 50.  I can tell you that it is usually pretty darn chilly before the race, and then very pleasant at the end.

What I normally do, and recommend to others,  is to bring an old sweatshirt or something that you don't mind shedding during the race.  A lot of people do this, and then Disney will donate the shed clothing to a local charity.   It's amazing how quickly you warm up once you begin running.  Then you are thankful for the lower temperatures.

Please let me know if you have any other questions and good luck with your training!
