Hi Lori, My husband, baby and I are running the jingle jungle 5k in Nov--- we usually stay at the Bonnet Creek Hilton and drive to the parks--Will driving to Animal Kingdom that am be an issue? Should we try to stay at a host property instead? Thanks :

Hi Olivia!  That will be a really fun race for your family!  I am excited about it too!  Christmas-time at Disney World is so magical!

There will be a few road closures that morning, but not a lot since a majority of the 5K course is run through the park.  You will get a booklet with driving directions and road closure information when you go to packet pick-up at the expo.  So, you will be fine staying at the Bonnet Creek Hilton.  Just be sure to plan ahead and leave with plenty of time to spare.

If you are flexible on your plans, staying at a Disney host resort would be more convenient.  You would have bus transportation to and from the expo, as well as on race morning.

But, rest assured, that you will be OK whatever you decide to do!!
