Hi Lori! A few of my friends & I getting excited to run the Princess Half. We arrive on Saturday, but we don't want to go to the park that day (resting up!). Could you recommend a good place for a pre-race dinner that's on property, but not in a park?

    Hi Jessica!

You and your friends are going to have a blast!  I had eight girlfriends meet me for this year's Princess Half Marathon,  and we definitely did:)

My two favorite recommendations for you would be:
    1.  Portobello at Downtown Disney:  This is where we ate last year, the night before our race.  It was perfect! We were able to eat some good carbs and they had a wide selection of items that were easy to digest.  An added bonus to Downtown Disney is that there is a new running store there!  You could do some shopping at Fit2Run before or after you eat!

    2.  'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort:  This is my go-to "celebration" dinner place, but it would also be a good choice for before the race.  I like it for after a race because they have bread pudding to die for, and I'm not sure that's the best choice the night before a half marathon!

I hope these suggestions help!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
