    Hi Lori! Just called WDW-IRUN to make travel arrangements, and they told me there were no runners' discounts. (I'm running the Jan. half marathon.) I heard there were discounts available. Am I calling the right number? Thanks so much!

    Hi Christina!  I love the Disney World half marathon!  It's a great race!

    You did call the right number.  During marathon weekend, there are no runner's discounts on rooms and packages, etc.  You probably heard about the runner's discounts offered during most other races.  I am guessing that since marathon weekend has so many participants, this is why they aren't offered that weekend.  The good news is, January is generally a Value Season for Disney, so the rooms won't be full price any way.

    All of the Disney World resorts are host resorts during marathon weekend.  They will all offer free bus transportation to all race weekend events.  You can pick whatever resort fits your budget and theme preference.
