Hi Lori! I have attended runDisney's marathon weekend for the past 3 years and normally eat in Italy for my pre-race meal. This year I am attempting Goofy and don't want to eat in Italy for 2 pre-race meals. Do you have any suggestions?

    Hi Jamie!

Italy is a great place to fuel up with all of the wonderful pastas!

If you are wanting to stick to Epcot, La Cellier in Canada, or Teppan Edo in Japan would offer you protein with chicken and/or steak with some carbs on the side.  'Ohana at the Polynesian is always a great place to eat too.

Downtown Disney has several restaurants you could choose from.  If you want to stick with Italian, there is a restaurant called Portobello that is delicious.  My favorite Downtown Disney restaurant is Paradiso 37.  Definitely try the ribs and corn on the cob there if you go.

I hope these help!  Good luck with your training and best wishes on getting that Goofy medal!  Let me know if I can help in any other way.
