Hi!!! What loop numbers on a map are the wheelchair accessible cabins at Fort Wilderness ? I have a son that uses a wheelchair and I want to see how difficult the transportation will be to the parks ect. Thank you in advance

    Hi Skye!

Thanks for sending your question to the planDisney Panel! The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is my family's favorite! We find that it to be very relaxing and we enjoy the calm atmosphere and the deer roaming around. If I remember correctly from my last stay here, the wheelchair-accessible cabins were all located in Loop 2800. There is a bus stop located right at the entrance of Loop 2800,  which is for the internal bus service (Fort Wilderness is pretty big). You would board this bus to and head over to the Outpost Depot where you can switch to the buses heading to the theme parks or Disney Springs. You can also take the internal bus to the Settlement Depot and then head over to the marina where you can catch a boat to Magic Kingdom. Keep in mind that with the current pandemic, things can change at any time and I encourage you to familiarize yourself with this page: Update on Walt Disney World Resort operations, including Theme Parks and Water Parks. This is where you can find the latest news regarding the reopening and the conditions to visit.

Quick tip: Be sure to download the My Disney Experience app on your mobile phone before your trip! Here you can see wait times for attractions and even where you can place a mobile order for many of the quick service locations!

Skye, thanks so much for stopping by the  planDisney Panel. If you need more help planning your vacation, please feel free to send me your questions!
