    Loooking to visit Walt Disney World Resort with my family in may 2018.We probably will stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge.My litlle one has allergy problems anda we would like to know if it`s possible to have microwave in our room.

    It is with great pleasure that I welcome a fellow Brazilian to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m glad to know you are planning a family vacation for 2018.

    You can request a microwave upon arrival at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Please note that availability is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. If your request is not granted, you are still welcome to use the complimentary microwave available at The Mara, the Quick-Service location offered at this Disney Resort hotel.

    If your child has food allergies or other special dietary needs, you will find that the Walt Disney World Resort does an amazing job accommodating them. Here are some tips to help you look out for those issues while still having a most magical time:

    - Indicate all food allergies at the time you book dining reservations online or by phone at +1 (407) 939-3463.
    - At Table-Service restaurants, talk to your server about any restrictions upon arriving at your dining location. You may also speak with the chef.
    - Many Quick-Service locations offer allergy friendly menus.
    - Contact Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com ahead of your visit for other questions related to food allergies or if you have any other special dietary requests. Their amazing team will assist you in navigating the dining process.
