It looks like the WDW DAS icon keeps disappearing out of my Disney experience app. How do I check it?

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Jennifer!

Welcome to planDisney, it is so nice to meet you. I’m happy to see that you will be heading to Walt Disney World in just a few short days. Are you excited? And most importantly, have you packed? If you are anything like me, you might want to throw in an extra tote bag in your luggage for all your souvenir purchases. It is the perfect, "just in case" solution, trust me.

Since you are not in the theme parks yet, don’t worry about the DAS icon disappearing. It will be visible on the My Disney Experience mobile app once the ticket, associated with Disability Access Service (DAS), is scanned at any theme park entrance. After that, you will see the DAS icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the app throughout the length of your ticket. Keep in mind, to utilize DAS services, you need to be scanned into the theme park first.

If you are in the theme parks and still running into difficulties using DAS, head on over to the Guest Experience team. Guest Experience Cast Members can be found at any of the blue umbrellas spread throughout the theme parks. The Cast Members at any of these locations will be more than happy to take a look at your account and troubleshoot any problems with you.

With a little bit of Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust, you’ll be back to playing in the magic in no time. While visiting the theme parks, I will leave you with a few of my must-dos. The first is enjoying a DOLE Whip. No trip is complete without one! If the pineapple treat isn’t for you, head over to Sunshine Tree Terrace for a great alternative. Go with the DOLE Whip Orange Cup. The second must-do is to share a hug with my pal, Mickey Mouse. No trip is complete without a friendly hello from the one who started it all.

I hope this helps answer your question and helps you prepare for this exciting trip. Have a great visit, Jennifer. If there’s anything else we can help with, please don’t hesitate to ask.

    See ya real soon,

    Shantel
