Kids with Woody at Disney' Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground

    It looks like the watercraft are running again now between Wilderness Lodge and Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness. Can you confirm? If so how frequently do they run? Many thanks.

    Thanks for bringing another question to planDisney! Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is only days away, I’m sure you’re very excited! 

    I know you’ve been hoping for a return of the water taxi service between Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, unfortunately, this route has not returned yet. I recommend visiting the Front Desk at your Disney Resort hotel for the most up-to-date advice on how to get around Walt Disney World Resort. It’s always worthwhile to kindly let the Cast Members know you would like the return of that water taxi route. 

    John, one option is to take a water taxi from Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom Park, then take the water taxi from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. You could also follow this route by bus, by taking a bus from Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort to Magic Kingdom Park, then finding the bus from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. 

    If you have the chance, I highly recommend making an advance dining reservation for Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. With an all-you-care-to-enjoy meal and songs that will have you laughing and singing along, this dinner and a show is a must-do!
